Chain Gang were closing down in what later became the site of C1. Guy Griffith-Jones from C4 who started C1 right there on the site arrived ... he and Dion, just arrived and were hanging out there from Wellington and they decided they wanted to do a café here. I can’t remember the reasons, so we decided to talk to the landlord about dividing up the space for my picture framing shop and Guy’s café.
