Wiltshire Building going going gone!

Listen to this story
I saw that as one of the most serious losses of commercial buildings.  The demolition of the Wiltshire marked the erosion of the precinct.

Edwardian Baroque

A Baroque architecture revival flourished from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Essentially a national English classical style based on the architecture of St Paul’s Cathedral London and Hampton Court for example. Characterised by symmetrical elevations and the logical design of facades using classical orders of column. Often mixed with other styles and used in a range of building types including offices, shops and libraries.
