I remember driving past the corner of Tuam and High Street and seeing a ‘For Lease’ sign on the old Post Office building and I thought that’s got to have a chance… the infrastructure round here was basically in a state of disrepair. I used to think there’s been a war here and no one has bothered to clean up. It was dilapidated, it had been let go.
